Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Compoundra collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you access or use our website, platform, research tools, reports, Community Library, waitlist, and related services.

Compoundra is a product operated by rebalio Labs, an independent research project based in Uruguay. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Compoundra", "rebalio Labs", "we", "us", or "our" refers to the people operating the Compoundra service.

If you have questions or wish to make a privacy request, contact support@compoundra.app.

1. Data We Collect

We may collect the following categories of data:

Account Data

This may include your name, email address, login credentials, account preferences, and information you provide when registering, joining a waitlist, requesting access, or using the Service.

Usage and Research Data

This may include reports generated, tickers searched, companies analyzed, report counts, usage limits, subscription tier, saved preferences, prompts, report requests, generated outputs, and interactions with the Service.

Billing Data

Billing and subscription data may include subscription status, plan type, renewal status, Paddle customer or transaction identifiers, payment status, invoice information, and related billing records.

Compoundra does not directly collect or store complete payment-card details. Payments are processed by Paddle as our Merchant of Record under Paddle's own terms and privacy notice.

Technical and Security Data

This may include IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, approximate location, log data, session data, error reports, and security-related information necessary to operate and protect the Service.

User Inputs

This may include prompts, tickers, company names, comments, preferences, feedback, and other information you choose to submit.

Compoundra is designed for research involving publicly traded companies and public or lawfully accessible business information. Do not submit personal data, confidential information, sensitive information, proprietary material, or restricted third-party information.

2. How We Use Data

We may use data to:

  • Provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Service.
  • Create and manage user accounts.
  • Generate, save, display, and improve research reports and other outputs.
  • Operate the Community Library.
  • Manage report allowances, subscriptions, trials, and waitlist access.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions through Paddle.
  • Send transactional account, access, billing, security, and service-related messages.
  • Send optional product or marketing updates where permitted. You may unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time.
  • Respond to questions, feedback, support requests, failed generations, and privacy requests.
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, or misuse.
  • Understand service usage through internal operational records and aggregated or de-identified information.
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, security, and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal data and do not use personal data for third-party advertising.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable, we process personal data based on one or more of the following:

  • Contractual necessity: to provide the Service you request or purchase.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service.
  • Consent: where you voluntarily join a waitlist, subscribe to optional communications, or agree to optional processing.
  • Legal obligations: where information must be processed or retained for legal, tax, accounting, billing, security, or regulatory purposes.

We process personal data in accordance with privacy laws applicable to Compoundra and the relevant user.

4. Service Providers

We may share limited information with service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, or bill for the Service.

Supabase and Infrastructure Providers

We may use Supabase and other infrastructure providers for database services, authentication, storage, hosting, and backend operations.

Paddle

Paddle acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payments, manages subscriptions, handles applicable taxes and invoices, and provides billing-related communications and buyer support. Compoundra receives limited transaction, customer, and subscription metadata needed to manage product access.

AI Model and Research Infrastructure Providers

AI systems help generate and structure Compoundra research. The production workflow is designed to send company tickers, research instructions, public or lawfully accessible company information, and report-related content to AI providers, not personal account or billing data.

Users should not place personal, confidential, sensitive, proprietary, or restricted information in research requests. Provider processing is also subject to the applicable service agreements and provider policies used by Compoundra.

Email Providers

We may use email providers for account confirmations, access messages, product updates, billing notices, and support communications.

Logging and Security Tools

We may use operational logging, error monitoring, and security tools to maintain reliability, investigate failures, prevent abuse, and protect accounts.

We do not authorize service providers to use personal data for their own advertising purposes.

5. AI-Generated Reports and User Inputs

When you submit a ticker, company name, report request, or other research input, relevant information may be processed by AI-assisted systems to generate the requested output.

AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, unsupported assumptions, or incorrect interpretations. Important information should be independently verified.

The Service is not intended for processing sensitive personal information or confidential materials.

6. Community Library and Public Report Visibility

Completed company reports may be added automatically to the Community Library and made available to other Compoundra users. This shared-library model allows users to benefit from research that has already been generated, reduces duplicate processing, and helps keep the Service sustainable.

Community Library reports may display the analyzed company, ticker, report content, scores, classifications, generation date, and other business-research information.

Compoundra does not intend to display the requesting user's name, email address, account information, billing information, or unprocessed private prompts alongside a Community Library report.

Because final reports may become visible to other users, do not submit personal data, confidential information, sensitive information, proprietary materials, or restricted third-party information in a research request.

7. Data Retention and Account Deletion

Account data, prompts, reports, and related usage information may be retained while your account remains active so that Compoundra can provide access to your research history and operate the Service.

You may request account deletion by contacting support@compoundra.app. We will delete, anonymize, or de-identify personal data associated with the account when reasonably practicable, unless certain information must be retained for billing, tax, accounting, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup integrity, or legal compliance.

Deletion of an account does not necessarily require removal of an anonymized company report from the Community Library where the report no longer identifies or is linked publicly to the requesting user.

Billing and transaction records may be retained by Compoundra or Paddle for longer periods where required by law or legitimate operational needs.

Aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not identify a user may be retained.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Access personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of personal data.
  • Request restriction of or object to certain processing.
  • Request portability where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

To make a request, contact support@compoundra.app. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

At launch, Compoundra uses only cookies or similar technologies reasonably necessary for authentication, login sessions, security, account preferences, and core service functionality.

Compoundra does not currently use nonessential analytics, marketing, or third-party advertising cookies. If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and request consent where required.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data. These may include encrypted connections, authentication controls, access restrictions, password hashing, database security rules, operational monitoring, and other safeguards.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access.

11. International Data Transfers

Compoundra is operated from Uruguay, but service providers may process or store data in other countries.

Where required by applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

12. Children

Compoundra is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children or minors under 18.

If you believe a minor has provided personal data, contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements evolve.

If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as through the Service, by email, or by updating the date at the top of this page.
